I recently handcrafted this instrument inspired by Jerry’s Tiger. I‘ve been building guitars since 1996 and continuously learning from masters such as Thomas Lieber (who shares design credit with Doug Irwin for the original Tiger). This design is very similar to the actual masterpiece, 11 layer body with 7 piece set neck, 25.5” scale length and dual chambered body. Dimarzio Super 2 humbuckers with SDS-1 single coil and replica buffer/obel. Brass details/custom hardware and ornate hand cut inlay. The Flame Maple Tiger covers a replica buffer and 9v battery, I also have a Mother of Pearl Tiger plate in the works. Schaller M6 tuners and harmonica bridge. The guitar plays and sounds incredible with low action and 10-46 strings. Premium Bourns/CTS/Switchcraft electronics. I standardized the design slightly by utilizing a 12" fretboard radius and traditional string spacing at the scalloped brass string nut, dual action truss rod adjustable at the headstock and medium fret wire (Stewart Macdonald #148). Naturally I had to keep a guitar like this around and play it a bit so I'm listing as used mint condition. Comes with a Gator hard case and free shipping.
