The thunder child semi-hollow body features excellent playability and unparalleled tone. It is the epitome of artistic craftsmanship in heirloom quality that will make you stand out in the crowd. This thunder Child body is made from extremely lightweight, old-growth, red cedar, which is incredibly responsive and resonant. It is finished with an ancient Japanese technique of gentle burning, giving it a beautiful burnished figure finish. The neck is made from Port Orford cedar and the fingerboard is Ziricote. The net worth is 42 mm in the frets are medium high. All of the hardware is hand tooled, jeweler quality, age solid brass. The bridge is fitted with Wilkinson adjustable saddles. The machine heads are golden age restorations. The lipstick pick-ups are made by pick-up designer Doug Tulloch, Who has designed the greatest lipstick pick-ups ever produced.
