1986 Gibson Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty”. It plays beautifully with low action and minimal fret wear. Original condition with no breaks or repairs. Gold hardware has the typical tarnish, but has retained most of its gold finish and looks great overall including the tuners. Shows play wear and scuffs, most notably there are a couple of areas of little indentations on the back and a top — I was told when I bought it that they are the result of the guitar being put in the case with strap. There is also a tiny spot on the back of the neck behind the 9th fret that was there when I bought it. Could be from guitar stand, it doesn’t affect playability up or down the neck. The binding is in beautiful shape and has also aging gracefully to a light cream color adding to the authentic vintage vibe. Comes with the original/indestructable chainsaw case in great condition, all latches work and inside is clean and stink-free.
