So the Gibson "Mods" on this one are an offset black look that looks pretty cool. It features an actual metal diamond plate black pickguard, black tuners, pickups rings, and even a gloss black stop tail piece.

Beyond that it has all the regular LP Classic goodness you would expect. So it is more of a visual Mod than any sort of departure from the LP Classic structure and specs.

Conditionally this one is in great shape. The body shows just one micro soft indentation about the size of a pencil tip. There is a faint bit of superficial swirling type playwear. But no marks of note nor any actual penetrating finish scratches.

The sides/edges look great. I am seeing no dings or any accumulation of playwear. There will be just faint minute traces of swirling.

The body back shows some mild surface swirling here and there. But no formed patterns or accumulation of swirling. There is perhaps 1-2 micro scratches, but none that penetrate the finish. I do not see any dings or bumps on it.

The neck looks excellent throughout. I can find no marks on the neck shaft or headstock and there is no fretwear. The setup plays beautifully up and down the neck. And i just put a new set of strings. The electronics are stock and working as they should.

This one rates a 9.6/10 and grades as excellent. This is an exemplary excellent condition newer era guitar and looks, plays and sounds great.

This is a popular version of the Les Paul. It's feature set and quality make it a comparable guitar to the LP Standard and Traditional. Most noteworthy among it's differences to those models are it has a "60s" style thin neck. This is a fast comfortable easy to play neck that is noticeably slimmer that other Gibson neck contours.

Also two of the knobs are coil tapped for single coil tones. This is a nice looking, sounding and playing specimen to.
