Gibson Flying V2 Natural Guitar

beautiful 1981 Gibson Flying V2 II. This guitar is all original and in very good shape for its age. It has a small clearcoat imperfection on the upper bout by the strap button, a little clear coat cracking by the neck joint and just some small wear by the headstock from a hanging stand. Other then that the guitar is free of flaws and any breaks or repairs. The pickups are original and have a very unique sound and the electronics are also all original. The neck is straight and smooth and the frets show almost no wear at all. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of these very rare Flying V II guitars. Will be shipped in its original case. The V2 was one of the first projects taken on by Tim Shaw when he started work at Gibson. The "boomerang" humbucking pickups and the sculpted body are very unique features to the model. Gold hardware with black plastics makes for a lovely aesthetic
