1979 Gibson V2 is one of 157 built in the first year of production. This example is a one family guitar, and is in very good all original condition. The V2 was one of the first projects taken on by Tim Shaw when he started work at Gibson. The "boomerang" humbucking pickups and the sculpted body are very unique features to the model. Gold hardware with black plastics makes for a lovely aesthetic. Condition wise this guitar is considered "very good". There's a handful of nicks & dings, as well as some buckle rash on the back of the guitar that has been professionally repaired. The repaired area is a bit darker then the rest of the finish. See photos. Guitar is 100% original and is perfectly functioning with no cracks, breaks or other repairs. Included in the sale is the original Gibson hardshell case.
